1. Our commitment
CoinSparring is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, or need larger text. We treat accessibility as part of the product rather than an afterthought, and we fix barriers as we find them.
2. Conformance standard
We aim to meet Israeli Standard ת"י 5568, which adopts the international WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations.
3. What we have done
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- A "Skip to content" link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
- Icon-only buttons and links carry text labels for assistive technology.
- Charts that carry information not available elsewhere on the page have a text alternative; charts that merely repeat nearby numbers are hidden from screen readers rather than read out twice.
- Live market status is announced politely, so a screen reader is not interrupted by every price tick.
- Pinch-zoom is never disabled, and the layout reflows down to a 320 px viewport.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed — gains and losses also carry a sign and an arrow.
4. Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply the site is flawless:
- The interactive price chart is a canvas-based drawing surface. The underlying data is available as text elsewhere on the page, but the drawing tools themselves are not usable by keyboard.
- Some third-party news images arrive without captions from their source, so their alternative text may be limited.
- A small number of secondary labels sit slightly below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio at the smallest text sizes; we are correcting these as we touch each screen.
5. Found a barrier? Tell us
If something on CoinSparring prevented you from doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it — even if you are not sure it counts. Please describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using, if any.
You can use the Feedback button on any page, or contact the site's accessibility coordinator at support@coinsparring.com.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to fix confirmed barriers as a priority.
6. Scope
This statement applies to the CoinSparring web application. CoinSparring is a paper-trading simulator: all funds are virtual and no real money or real financial service is involved.
