About CoinSparring
CoinSparring is a free crypto trading simulator. You get 10,000 virtual USDT and trade real coins at live market prices, so you can learn how trading works and make your mistakes without losing real money.
It's built and run by an independent developer who wanted a practice tool that didn't exist yet: real data, fake money, and honest warnings about the risky parts of crypto.
What you can do here
- Buy and sell 400+ coins with market, limit and stop orders, including fees and slippage, so results feel like the real thing.
- Practise futures and margin with leverage, and see your liquidation price before you open a position.
- Read beginner guides and plain-English explanations of crypto terms.
- Join the free weekly Beginner Cup and see how your trading compares.
- See a risk badge on every coin that flags thin trading, sudden spikes and very new listings.
What CoinSparring never does
- It never takes deposits, holds real money or crypto, or pays out real money. Every balance here is virtual.
- It never tells you what to buy or sell. Guides and AI explanations describe what happened; they don't predict prices or give financial advice.
- It doesn't promote exchanges or coins, and no one pays to be featured.
- It doesn't ask for ID or a card. An email address is enough.
Where the data comes from
- Prices, candles and order books stream live from the Gate.io exchange's public market data.
- Coin descriptions and market caps come from CoinGecko.
- AI explanations are written by Anthropic's Claude. Every answer passes a filter that removes buy/sell recommendations and price predictions.
- Risk badges are calculated by fixed rules from trading volume, price moves and listing age, not by AI.
